One of the benefits of being a Juris Dogster is that the learning (and adventure) never ever ends. Last week, Mom and I traveled to Seattle, Washington. I stayed in Seattle with family while my Mom traveled on to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, for a business law conference with the American Bar Association.
Chattanooga ⇨ Atlanta
We left Chattanooga by shuttle to the Atlanta airport in the early morning hours. When I travel with Mom we always fly Delta, and Atlanta being the hub for Delta Airlines, we can usually fly direct to just about anywhere in the U.S. The shuttle ride to the airport was fairly short, but I made every effort to make friends with the elderly lady next to us. She was very sweet and I laid my head right on her lap so she could pet my head the whole way. We got to the airport and through security with just enough time for me to make one last potty break in the Dog Relief Room before boarding our flight.
Atlanta ⇨Seattle 🛫
Our flight from Atlanta to Seattle was a little over 5 hours. This was the longest flight I have been on. Mom was a little concerned, but I was a champ the whole way. During the flight, Mom worked away on your laptop while I snoozed on the floor and her lap just sleeping light enough to make sure I did not miss the snack cart. My favorite part about flying is the snacks. Delta must know all my favorite human snacks: pretzels (the cheesy kind), peanuts, and CHEEZ-ITs. Yum.
Landing in Seattle. 🛬
We landed in Seattle just before Noon, Pacific Time. Time travel is the greatest, but my stomach definitely was telling me otherwise. I helped Mom pick out our luggage from baggage claim and then we got on a bus to the rental car facility where the windows were just my height!
Exploring Seattle.
From exploring the neighborhood of Mt. Baker, swimming in Lake Washington and hiking through Discovery Park, Seattle is a place that is a must go for all our fur friends. Here are a few snapshots of my adventure through Seattle, Washington.
